|remember how I was talking here about how everything seems quiltable?|
Tonight as I walked home from work attacked by vicious needles of cold steely rain, I decided to pop in to my local shop and buy something healthy and quick for supper.
Yes, well, after standing blankly in front of the shelves, for what seemed like, um, seconds, I gave in to my inner "it's cold and rainy and I want comfort food" inner whine - and grabbed a box of Fish Fingers - oh yes.
[And what a nice pattern they make eh? Thanks to Kellie for the header in my pic - it's from her brilliant FREE downloadable Blogtoberfest Calendar ... I'll have to print another one now, sheesh!]
The funny thing is that Vinod (local shop's proprietor, and our local superhero - more another day) said that I was the 4th person this evening to grab fish fingers !!
So, what is it about the onslaught of a rather fierce autumn that makes us crave things from our childhood?
What are your "fish fingers" - the things you turn to so very rarely that tick all your comfort boxes?
Please confess below ...
Tomorrow I'll be announcing a little BrightonBreezy themed giveaway to celebrate Blogtoberfest & reaching over 1000 pageviews! Yay! BTW ... I'm happy to post worldwide ...
Now .. don't think I've let you off ... comfort confessions please ...
